14th July - Pub Night at Cheshire Line Tavern

We had a good journey down to the pub tonight. There were quite a few people there when we arrived. We sat with and talked to Tina, Cath, Duncan and Paul at first. Tina and Duncan were in good moods as school has now finished and they have their summer free. Paul can't go on the forthcoming weekend away as he can't get time off work, but the others have already booked. Later on we moved tables to talk to Chris, Vanessa and the Irish girl who is another Sarah. I talked to Vanessa about Greenbelt and told her who is performing this year. The others were comparing notes on their Eastern European holidays - it all sounded very interesting.
We have discovered that next weeks beach day may be cancelled if weather continues to be as bad as it has been earlier this week. Actually today wasn't too bad -I had to wear sunglasses when i was driving tonight.
Before going home I asked a couple of people if they were going dancing next week at Stockport. Kay is not sure as it's her sister-in-law's birthday and Chris can't go because he is going to Keith's birthday party. However he did say he was still interested in going to Prestwich at the end of the month. I will still go to Stockport next week nevertheless as I don't get many opportunities to go. I'm sure there will be a few Prestwich regulars there.
We left a bit later tonight and had a pretty good journey home. In all it was an enjoyable evening.
