8th November - Thumbs down for takeaways

Tonight I decided to have a chicken dhansak from the local Indian takeaway. Looking back I wish I hadn't. On the way out of the shop I slipped on some wet leaves and fell. When I stood up I noticed I had cut my thumb - it was quite painful. I didn't realise how bad the cut was until I got back to my flat and saw it was still bleeding. My hand was covered in blood and there were bloodstains on my coat too. I washed my hand and wrapped my thumb in a flannel and eventually it stopped bleeding.
The wound is still painful, so I doubt that I'll be able to drive at weekend. I just hope that it doesn't give me too many problems when I'm dancing.
Next time I am tempted to go to the takeaway I will resist. The dhansak was good, but not worth the pain.
