29th May - The journey home from Cliff
I decided to leave straight after breakfast this morning. After I had only gone about a mile or two the car didn't seem to be accelerating all that well and was struggling to go faster than 20mph. I decided to pull into the nearest layby and phone the breakdown service. They said they would send out a local firm within the hour and they were true to their word fortunately. A man turned up and checked the engine and put in some more oil. He gave the car a test run and said all seemed to be ok. He decided to follow me for few miles just to make sure which was good of him.
Despite this problem it didn't take too long to get home as the roads were fairly clear and the weather was good.
I had a meal at Mum and Dads before setting off home. In all it's been a good weekend and a good rest. I don't reckon I'll be going to Cliff festival regularly, but I enjoyed the experience and I'm sure I will return sometime.
