22nd October - Coffee at Slug and Lettuce

It was a select group of 25 plussers who met at the Slug and Lettuce today. I arrived to find Anya, Sue, Laurie and Beth were already there. Sue said she enjoyed the jive night last night. Anya and Sue ordered lunch - a rather expensive plate of salmon, french beans and rocket. Later Kay, Jill,Emma and Sarah arrived. There was a distinct lack of men there today - the only ones who turned up were Robin (who livened things up as usual!), Sandeep, Irish Andrew and Mike H. One good thing I discovered was that most people who were there today are going on the weekend away next weekend. Also the male/female ratio is 40/60 and there are quite a few new people going as well as a few regulars.
I also discovered that there weren't many at Rachel's party last night - Sandeep said there were about a dozen people there. I'm glad I went dancing now - I know I don't like crowded parties ,but a dozen is too few even for me.
